Howley Distribution: Dublin

Howleys are the second largest warehousing company in Ireland. tangent are entirely responsible for all software engineering aspects of a sophisticated computer system currently being installed. This system entails a completely integrated warehousing/logistics package. This software is unique and involves controlling stock in buffer areas before despatch. It also involves radio controlled hand held terminals and extensive programming in Unix. For Howleys, we are also implementing an internet connection and web site, where orders will be downloaded automatically for processing. Prior to that, orders will be processed via EDI.

Caffrey International: Dublin

For Caffreys, tangent supplied and implemented a combined logistics/financial package based around HaulTech software from the UK. tangent were responsible for all specification, installation, training and integration.
